My husband and I are just starting out our first van build and installed this rack today! Instructions were easy to follow and as complete newbies reading instructions for the first time today it took us about 4 hours, with my husband doing a lot himself while I worked on something else intermittently.

I researched so many roof racks... and I mean SO many, ranging from budget to $6k+ options on the market. This rack was 100% the right decision for our Sprinter build. Incredibly easy to install, top-quality material, and thoughtful design. You can tell this was made for real, outdoor, rugged use. It took just a few hours to install (with 2 people) and it's solid after 2000+ miles on the road. If you're looking to get a rack that holds up and isn't the price of a new car, then get this one.

The roof rack and solar panels were easily installed a good design for something that is not one piece. The awning was a little aggravating because of the shape of the van.

This roof rack and company is top notch. From a fast delivery (across the border to Canada), to quality materials and an ingenious build. The design is sleek, hides everything on the roof, and I get compliments on it everywhere I go. If I build another van I will definitely be getting this roof rack again.

We dropped a white cedar plank deck on our Orion Stealth Roof Rack and Ladder. Now, we can't imagine life on the road without it. It's where we go to watch the sky, dry off after a paddle, get some private space, and entertain friends. A single summer on the road with it and this darn thing has seen some action. We've dined on it, meditated, fished from it, we even had a sheriff on top of it looking for a missing paddler at one point. At every campground and stop at least one person wants to check it out. This rack is solid, the ladder is easy to climb and maneuver. Assembly will take a little patience, but once done it is totally worth the time, effort, and price.

Originally, I was not going to install a roof rack due to weight, cost, difficulty to install, or not suitable for my large solar panel. Then I found this Orion Rack and knew it would be perfect on my 170 Sprinter. While it would have been faster with a second person, I was able to install the rack by myself because it comes in multiple pieces. Each piece is installed separately and then joined to the others with heavy-duty brackets. Very solid! Fit and finish were precise -- all holes lined up exactly which was greatly appreciated. Instructions were clear. Looks great -- I couldn't be happier with the end result.
Finally, I need to complement the guys at Orion. I asked several questions about the rack during installation, and they answered super fast each time!

The Orion Team were so great to work with. Never tired of my emails and FaceTime calls. My roof was tricky due to a roof hatch I installed beforehand. The team worked tirelessly to help me make it fit!

Incredibly well thought out and very rugged. Self installed and the instructions are spot on….install is pretty easy if you fairly handy and I am very impressed with how solid it feels. Allow yourself some time and don’t rush the install.

Lightweight, quiet and seamlessly follows the lines of the Sprinter! It's evident that this rack was meticulously designed for this vehicle and is not a 'one-size-fits-all' kind of a deal. Sprinters are lucky to have this as an option! Can't wait to dress it up with solar and a roof top oasis!

We love the Promaster Stealth+ Roof Rack. It's designed perfectly to fit our fleet of vehicles at Boho Camper Vans. The rack looks sleek and cool, the quality is outstanding and the install directions are clear and straightforward.

Perhaps the best thing about our experience with Orion is the team. Matt and company are always available to answers questions when we need them and they're available to our clients as well. That's something hard to find and/or quantify.

After getting a Winnebago Solis hard top (Promaster 3500 extended), I purchased the specially made stealth rack, first of its kind (revised). I was able to install it completely by myself. I love it. I had to make some changes to the way Winnebago set up the Solis roof (items blocking the roof track area), but once that was done it fit perfectly. I had numerous emails back and forth with Orion, to discuss the options and they were great. I don’t think I’ve ever had such personalized attention. Currently I’ve put a number of items onto the roof and plan some more refinements to increase solar, adjust storage and even have a little deck too.
I’m also going to add the ladder and awning to my rig in the near future.

We love the look of this roof rack + ladder. We were able to install this ourselves without having to drill into the roof of the van. Not needing to drill into the top of the van and being able to install ourselves was important to us. You really need two people to install this rack, would be difficult to install alone. I was able to call with any questions and spoke to a real person. No automated recording/ leaving messages. Huge perk! Also got a hand written note along with my package. Love the personal touch! The videos along with the written installation guide made install go smoothly. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone!

Very impressed with everything about this purchase. Great customer service from the Orion team. They needed to verify some measurements for my Solis Pocket configuration and they were on it in every way. once the rack arrived, the packaging was a step above. It arrived in perfect condition because it was packaged incredibly well. Once opened, assembled and installed, it all went flawlessly. Fit and finish was beyond expectation. Very solid company and product. you can see the attention to pride, quality, & detail that the team puts into the product. It is not the least expensive, but it is the best of the best and worth the extra cost.

This rack is exactly what I was looking for when I scouring the internet for Promaster specific racks, which there are already very few to begin with. It is adjustable in every way and will save many holes and potential leak points in the roof. I wanted a rack that I could set a deck on and would hold some solar. The only other racks I saw that could do this had to be custom ordered, were 2 times the price and had super long lead times. And then didn’t allow for any future changes. The guys at Orion Van Gear are extremely helpful and responsive to any questions. The included instructions with supplemental video made the install super straight forward. I love the asthetic and can’t wait to get the ladder up, after front panel window install then the solar and deck. If you want a rack that checks all the boxes and a company with great personal customer service then look no further.

This rack is awesome.super easy to install. Plus you don’t pay a fortune to have it shipped. I put a 400 watt panel on it and it’s not visible from the road . I needed a few parts to mount my panel so when I contacted them , they were quick to respond. ( they were out of town but still responded ) if your looking for a rack get this one. You won’t be disappointed
