2.Will it fit my roof opening?

It fits the standard 14" × 14" roof cutout used on most RVs and camper vans. The system accommodates roof thicknesses from about 1 1/8" to 6 1/2" using the included interior garnish ring.

3.Can I use the MaxxFan Deluxe in the rain or while driving?

Yes. The integrated, full-time rain cover lets you operate the fan during rain and even when the vehicle is in motion, protecting your interior while maintaining ventilation.

4.Is the fan reversible and how many speeds does it have?

The 00-07500K features a 10-speed reversible fan for both intake and exhaust, plus a built-in thermostat for automatic temperature control. You can run it manually from the keypad or with the included remote.

5.How much airflow and power does it use?

6.What size fuse or circuit do I need?

7.Does the 7500K have a rain sensor?

No. Instead of a rain sensor, the MaxxFan Deluxe relies on its built-in, always-on rain cover so you can keep ventilating during wet weather without auto-closing.

8.What’s included in the box?

You get the MaxxFan Deluxe assembly with smoke lid, interior insect screen, interior garnish ring, roof receiving flange, mounting hardware, and a wireless remote with a wall-mount cradle. Two AAA batteries are typically included for the remote.

9.Can I run the fan with the lid closed?

Yes. Close the lid while the fan is running to enable “Ceiling Fan Mode.” This recirculates interior air without exchanging it with outside air, which is useful in cold or dusty conditions.

10.How do I clean or service the screen?

The insect screen removes easily by turning the four retainer knobs; no tools required. Clean with mild soap and water only. Do not operate the fan with the screen removed and avoid solvent-based cleaners on plastic parts.

11.Is there a thermostat or Auto Mode on the remote?

Yes. The remote lets you set Auto Mode, where the fan opens the lid and adjusts speed to maintain your selected temperature. If 12 V power is removed, the thermostat defaults to approximately 78°F when power returns.

12.Will it interfere with roof racks, solar panels, or other equipment?

Install in a spot with at least 8" of clear space to the rear of the flange so the rear-facing intake/exhaust louvers are unobstructed. Keep nearby accessories far enough away to allow the lid to open fully and air to flow freely. For use with our roof racks request a CAD-verified layout.

13.What is the warranty?

MaxxFan Deluxe products carry a 2-year limited warranty, and the vent lid itself has a lifetime limited warranty. Keep your proof of purchase for any warranty claims.

14.Does it include optional wall controls?

The 7500K ships with a handheld remote.

15.Any installation tips for best performance?

Use only compatible roof sealants, center the roof flange in the 14" × 14" opening, and secure the unit with the provided stainless screws. Confirm the circuit rating, wire gauge, and polarity before powering the fan.

I had no issues with the installation of this fan. I was removing a Maxxair fixed vent unit in my car trailer and the opening was 14¼" x 14¼". An opening any larger and **** down the new unit would have been difficult. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the IR beam on the remote control is very narrow and has to be pointing directly at the unit in order to operate - I was hoping to use the remote while it was seated in the wall holder near the door, but no big deal.

I questioned ordering from Orion Van Gear but they had good reviews so I gave it a try. I ordered a Maxxair 00-07500K vent fan, they had it at a very good price. I received it in a week, the part was what I ordered and in good shape. I would recommend Orion Van Gear, if they have something I need, I would use them again. I won't Install the fan until spring (it's December now) so I can't give a review on how the fan works.

We had one of these in an previous trailer. Our new trailer had a four-speed maxair exhaust fan and we wanted to have the fan draw cool air into the bedroom, so we made the swap.

I expected that I would simply remove the old fan and slot this one in, but the flange and mount is different, as is the hood that came with the fan on the trailer. It necessitated scraping off the old sealant, removing the exterior and interior flange and making some adjustments, such as drilling new holes. It's not a plug and play swap. This is not a criticism of the fan, but a heads up for anyone making a similar swap.

Fan Update

Replaced my OEM fan with the Maxxair 7500K MaxxFan Deluxe on our Winnabego Solis Pocket. Our original Maxxair Fan failed and we took the opportunity to replace the fan with the Maxxair 7500K so we could take advantage of the ability to either draw air in or, draw air out of the van. The fan remote is also a nice feature.

I'm excited to start using this panel in my off grid system I'm building. I have a truck tool box I have 3 lifepo4 100ah batteries and a victron 100-50 charge controller. 3000watt power inverter. I will have 120 and 12 volt out puts. and all the wiring and fuses and switches I need for my build. This panel I will mount to the top of the box. Only thing I could gripe about is the corners of the panel are very sharp and a concern about cutting myself is the only thing I can complain about but that's not really a issue. Kinda wish the panel would at least have came with basic mounting hardware. It ships with just the panel and nothing else not even a spec sheet. Over all I'm happy to complete my project using this high quality panel.

They’re aluminum and can feel sharp out of the box, so we always recommend handling with gloves during install. On the specs, they’re on the sticker on the back of the panel.

Great side ladder for Ford Transit! We've got a 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD with the Orion Van Gear Stealth rack and just installed the side ladder to go with it. It fits nicely with the side profile of the van and has been rock solid on two road trips so far. If you've got a roof rack and need an easy way to climb up to it, this is a great fit.

Great roof rack for Transit! We've been rocking the Stealth Roof Rack on our 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD for a year now and it's been excellent. No noise, vibration, wind drag and it's designed nicely to snug up against the roofline. We ordered ours with the 2X scene (rear flood) lights and I highly recommend that. It's a nice easy way to shine some light on your loadouts and load-ins at night or while the sun is coming or going!

Great rack for my 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD! Have had it on for a year now and have no noise, vibration or wind drag issues. It's solid and nicely designed to lay flat against the roofline.
