The Orion roof rack I got from Orion for my transit mid roof 148 was a piece of cake to install. I was delighted with how easily it went together! My older son was unable to help that day but even so I got it done in about 4.5 hours. The Instructions are clear, the materials are all clearly labeled. There was no grinding, or tweaking of any kind needed! Can’t wait to get the roof panels!

Terrific, low profile roof rack that's easy to install. I appreciate how easy it is to add deck and solar panels that sit flush with the rack while also allowing airflow underneath for solar efficiency.
I also want to highlight the great customer support and the very helpful CAD layout, which really simplified the planning of my roof.
This roof rack is a Cadillac. Clear, well written instructions in full English. I wanted a rack that could fit 600 watts of solar, a rooftop AC and a max air fan. Steve helped me last the design out and chose panels. The goal was to fit two 200w panels in North/South orientation by the wind deflector, AC and maxxair fan in the big bay aft of the c pillar rib and a third 200w panel by the rear deflector.
This rack has more usable interior space than any other rack I could find, especially in the East/West measurement. It is rock solid, only weighs 80lbs and looks great.
It is one of the more expensive racks out there but for my build it was money well spent. I like supporting American companies that make nice things and this is a very nice thing.
Really appreciate you taking the time to write this and share the details of your setup. That layout you described is exactly the type of planning we try to make possible with these racks. Being able to fit solar, ventilation, and AC without wasting roof space is a big part of the design. Glad the CAD layout helped you land on a configuration that worked. We just installed a Stealth+ on our 2026 High Roof Transit. So glad to have an option that works with the new shark fin antenna location in the '26 model year. Another advantage of the Stealth+ rack is that its usable area is wider and longer than other racks. That, along with the Orion team's help in providing CAD layouts was SUPER helpful in thinking through our roof layout and how to fit 600W of solar along with a vent fan and Starlink Mini.

Great roof rack for Transit! We've been rocking the Stealth Roof Rack on our 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD for a year now and it's been excellent. No noise, vibration, wind drag and it's designed nicely to snug up against the roofline. We ordered ours with the 2X scene (rear flood) lights and I highly recommend that. It's a nice easy way to shine some light on your loadouts and load-ins at night or while the sun is coming or going!

Great rack for my 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD! Have had it on for a year now and have no noise, vibration or wind drag issues. It's solid and nicely designed to lay flat against the roofline.
Ordered a T250 MR Rack, solar panels, and deck as a package hoping everything would work together properly. CAD drawing were helpful confirming layout and installation locations. Hardware quality is great and components fit my van perfectly. The instructions are really good and support was quick to answer my questions. I was able to do the install solo with no problems. It looks great, has good aerodynamics, and doesn't add any noticeable wind noise at speed.I am very happy with the results!

This roof rack was the best investment in our van build journey. It will hold our solar panels and our deck. The stealth design makes it so you won't be able to see everything, unless you are looking at it from above. We have tested it out on multiple van trips - in our not completed van conversion lol - and we have gotten alot of asks on where we got this product.
The installation was super easy and the instructions were clear and well designed. We even got a personalized note in our package from Steve and Matt.
We can't wait to show the finished product with our solar panels and roof deck added to it.

I purchased and install an Orion Roof Rack on my 2023 Ford Transit Trail. My immediate impression was that it was a well made quality product. The installation was very straight forward and everything lined up perfectly with the exception of 2 holes on the Transit that did not perfectly line up. Tin snips easily resolved the problem without having to deal with metal shavings. The end result is, the Van now looks edgy, stealthy and amazing! I would highly recommend! Thank you Orion for making such a high quality product!

It's fairly normal for Ford Transit roof threads to require a bit of trimming, as they often have 1-2 threaded inserts per van that need adjustment. Does the Stealth+ roof rack for the Ford Transit Extended High Roof actually touch the van roof anywhere other than the stock Ford roof rack mounting points? It looks like the entire side rail is very close to touching the entire length of the roof...
The transit side rails do not touch the van roof. The only contact points are the mounting feet, which include custom laser-cut 3M gaskets between the rack feet and the van metal. The only other designed contact point is the front deflector, which sits on the trim lock.
Will your rack fit a 2019 transit Midheight roof?
Brad, Yes the 148 mid roof does as long as its a 148" wheelbase.
I just finished the install of the MaxxFan Deluxe, replacing a stock vent fan in our new Class C MH. Following the written (and online ‘how to’ videos) guidance, the install was straightforward. Most of the 3.5 hour job was spent cleaning off the old lap sealant in preparation for the new fan.

So quiet. Easy to install. We received the wrong item from Orion (black interior control panel vs white) We contacted them via email and they immediately gave us several options to make it right. The fan works great and the customer service Orion provides is top notch.

Amazing product so far. Big pro is it's low draw on my jacket 600v. 4 days of use and the battery percentage is still at 70%. Convenience of the remote being able to be used from anywhere. The noise level is very low at 40-50% fan power. I chose this unit instead of maxxair because it matched my van aesthetically and it's very low profile that i'm still able to park inside my work's parking structure. The con was during installation, this unit did not come with a sleeve that bridges the gap from the headliner to the fan itself. It did not sit flush and the manual **** that pushes up the metal rod(the longest one) does not reach because of it. I have to rely on the remote. Very good purchase and it's perfect for what i use it for.

One note on the install: the AirPlus is designed differently than a MaxxFan and does not use or include an interior sleeve. The fan is rated for a maximum roof thickness of about 3 1/8'. By comparison, a MaxxFan 7500K includes a sleeve-style interior garnish that can accommodate a thicker roof/headliner stack, up to about 6'.

supper product I had been looking for a crossbar rack system for my van's roof rack for more than a year, and this is perfect I did have to enlarge the holes on the foot piece of the cross bar to 11/32 to fit my roof rack hex bolts for mounting, easy peezy
