Versatile Configuration Options

The panels come in four sizes, allowing for various combinations to create full platforms, partial decks, or single-panel installations. They sit flush with the rack's top edge for improved aerodynamics and usability.

Custom Configuration Assistance

Step 1: Design your roof layout and determine which panel configuration fits best. Contact us for a free custom consultation to ensure optimal configuration. If you have fans, air conditioners, hatches, or other items through the roof jump to step 3.

Calculate crossbar spacing by subtracting 2" from the length of each panel, which gives you the distance needed between crossbars so you can figure your overall layout and precise crossbar positions. For example, a B panel, 28.5” long, would require 26.5” between 2 crossbars as each panel overlaps the top of each crossbar by 1”.

Step 2: Email us to verify the panel configuration. If you have appliances mounted (fan, AC, or hatch), provide the model name/number of each along with these specific measurements (USE THE RED LINES IN THESE REFERENCE IMAGES - 148 HR | 148EXT HR):

For rear-mounted appliances, measure the distance from the rear seam to the rear edge of the appliance.
For forward-mounted appliances, measure the distance from the front seam to the front edge of the appliance.
Measure the distance between all roof appliances. (EG. between fan and AC)

Each panel features strategically placed L-track compatible mounting holes, ensuring safe and secure gear transportation. Installation is quick and hassle-free, requiring only basic tools and minimal time.

Compatibility

Compatible with all racks using 2" x 1" or 3" x 1" extruded aluminum crossbars including our Sprinter Roof Rack and Transit Roof Rack. Each panel sits 1" over each side of a crossbar. You can mix and match these deck panels with our sprinter deck panels.

Roof Deck Panels on AVC RIG roof rack

I used a mix of Sprinter and Ford Transit roof deck panels 2.0 to maximize the roof space. See photo. I like the size options, flush mount screws and powder coating. Makes for a nice look. Versatility of L-track hole locations are TBD. need some big trips.

I sent my roof dimensions and within a day they send me a floor plan that had one less panel than what i originally thought I would need. I appreciate the honesty. The panels were super easy to mount and are extremely durable and well made.

I love the Rack and Panels but unfortunately, I ordered some wrong size panels that would not work how I wanted it with my walkable solar panels. Orion was great about this and helped me get the correct panels and gave me a refund. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for van gear.

A deck panels

We installed 6 A deck panels on a FLVC rack for a low top sprinter. Had to drill a few holes but that wasn’t all that big of a deal. They fit perfect!

175 Walkable Solar

Installed 3 175W walkable solar panels over the Orion Sprinter Rack and Roof Panels. Filled up the rack space perfectly with only 4"-5" of extra space. Electrical controllers not in yet so can't comment on them in use but the install looks good.

What can I say? They’re great! Came exactly as described. Hardware was all there and very good quality. Install was even easier than expected. They went above and beyond to help me make sure I was ordering the correct panels.
They were the exact size listed in their description. Packaging was phenomenal to avoid any possible shipment damage.

I installed (5) “B” Panels on a Transit Van with a V2 Flatline Van Co. Lo Pro rack. With my setup I was required to drill (2) small bolts for crossbar spacing in the rear.

Great side ladder for Ford Transit! We've got a 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD with the Orion Van Gear Stealth rack and just installed the side ladder to go with it. It fits nicely with the side profile of the van and has been rock solid on two road trips so far. If you've got a roof rack and need an easy way to climb up to it, this is a great fit.

Great roof rack for Transit! We've been rocking the Stealth Roof Rack on our 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD for a year now and it's been excellent. No noise, vibration, wind drag and it's designed nicely to snug up against the roofline. We ordered ours with the 2X scene (rear flood) lights and I highly recommend that. It's a nice easy way to shine some light on your loadouts and load-ins at night or while the sun is coming or going!

Stoked to hear the Stealth rack has been treating you well and staying quiet even after a year of use. The rear scene lights are a great call, super handy for night load-ins and early mornings. Appreciate you sharing the feedback.

Great rack for my 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD! Have had it on for a year now and have no noise, vibration or wind drag issues. It's solid and nicely designed to lay flat against the roofline.

I am adding an extra battery to my system. The Ecofliw has been a great system. This will double the capacity. It was very easy to adopt and it is working flawlessly. Shipping was quick and I didn’t have any issues.

I had no issues with the installation of this fan. I was removing a Maxxair fixed vent unit in my car trailer and the opening was 14¼" x 14¼". An opening any larger and **** down the new unit would have been difficult. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the IR beam on the remote control is very narrow and has to be pointing directly at the unit in order to operate - I was hoping to use the remote while it was seated in the wall holder near the door, but no big deal.

I questioned ordering from Orion Van Gear but they had good reviews so I gave it a try. I ordered a Maxxair 00-07500K vent fan, they had it at a very good price. I received it in a week, the part was what I ordered and in good shape. I would recommend Orion Van Gear, if they have something I need, I would use them again. I won't Install the fan until spring (it's December now) so I can't give a review on how the fan works.

As advertised, straight forward install. Seems expensive, but it is way more stout than a strip of LED lights that goes on with adhesive. Slides into existing groove so there's no way its coming loose.
