2.Will it fit my roof opening?

It fits the standard 14" × 14" roof cutout used on most RVs and camper vans. The system accommodates roof thicknesses from about 1 1/8" to 6 1/2" using the included interior garnish ring.

3.Can I use the MaxxFan Deluxe in the rain or while driving?

Yes. The integrated, full-time rain cover lets you operate the fan during rain and even when the vehicle is in motion, protecting your interior while maintaining ventilation.

4.Is the fan reversible and how many speeds does it have?

No. Instead of a rain sensor, the MaxxFan Deluxe relies on its built-in, always-on rain cover so you can keep ventilating during wet weather without auto-closing.

8.What’s included in the box?

You get the MaxxFan Deluxe assembly with smoke lid, interior insect screen, interior garnish ring, roof receiving flange, mounting hardware, and a wireless remote with a wall-mount cradle. Two AAA batteries are typically included for the remote.

9.Can I run the fan with the lid closed?

Yes. Close the lid while the fan is running to enable “Ceiling Fan Mode.” This recirculates interior air without exchanging it with outside air, which is useful in cold or dusty conditions.

10.How do I clean or service the screen?

The insect screen removes easily by turning the four retainer knobs; no tools required. Clean with mild soap and water only. Do not operate the fan with the screen removed and avoid solvent-based cleaners on plastic parts.

11.Is there a thermostat or Auto Mode on the remote?

Yes. The remote lets you set Auto Mode, where the fan opens the lid and adjusts speed to maintain your selected temperature. If 12 V power is removed, the thermostat defaults to approximately 78°F when power returns.

12.Will it interfere with roof racks, solar panels, or other equipment?

Install in a spot with at least 8" of clear space to the rear of the flange so the rear-facing intake/exhaust louvers are unobstructed. Keep nearby accessories far enough away to allow the lid to open fully and air to flow freely. For use with our roof racks request a CAD-verified layout.

13.What is the warranty?

MaxxFan Deluxe products carry a 2-year limited warranty, and the vent lid itself has a lifetime limited warranty. Keep your proof of purchase for any warranty claims.

14.Does it include optional wall controls?

I just finished the install of the MaxxFan Deluxe, replacing a stock vent fan in our new Class C MH. Following the written (and online ‘how to’ videos) guidance, the install was straightforward. Most of the 3.5 hour job was spent cleaning off the old lap sealant in preparation for the new fan.

I had an older model of Maxxair fan and upgraded to the Op-OO7500K MaxxFan Deluxe. It was easy to install in the existing operating I had in the roof of my van. I had no issues with the installation of this fan. I was removing a Maxxair fixed vent unit in my car trailer and the opening was 14¼" x 14¼". An opening any larger and **** down the new unit would have been difficult. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the IR beam on the remote control is very narrow and has to be pointing directly at the unit in order to operate - I was hoping to use the remote while it was seated in the wall holder near the door, but no big deal.

Best price i could find on the MaxxAir Deluxe Fans. They were a huge upgrade from my stock loud 6inch fan with manual lift. These are automatic, with large quiet fans that moves lots of air !!!

The store is excellent. Zero complaints. The fan is also excellent— zero complaints again! I had almost no issues installing it on a PVC roof, and I am no mechanic. Make sure the clips for the part you seal to the roof are facing the sky instead of the floor. I had to redo the whole cleanup because I didn’t check that first. Please learn from my mistake, and I bet an average RV owner could install this in under two hours pretty easily. The features work exactly as advertised, and it replaced a cheap bathroom fan with no extra wiring work. Highly recommend it!

Easy install to replace existing old broken Maxxair.. The auto open at set temps is so nice to have.. I dont have to worry about my RV getting to hot when I am not there and the AC's are off... worth every penny and a solid $100. cheaper here than on Amazon or direct from the company ... 10/10

2nd MaxxAir install - liked the one I put in my truck topper so much, I got one for my teardrop as well. Orion's price on the 07500K was top notch and delivery was very prompt. Install was a breeze. Isopropyl alcohol takes old butyl tape residue off quite easily. If you like things dark inside in the morning, don't get the smoke version - it "looks" better on the outside, but it lets the morning sunshine in more than I like. I wish I'd picked the white version this time. Also, when installing, if you wonder if the fan is centered and square in the hole after you drop it in, don't forget to take a second look from the inside where you can see everything easily without the interior trim installed. Super quiet operation and being able to operate at 10% to keep moisture down in colder weather is totally worth the upgrade. The remote isn't a game changer, but it sure is handy; and with Orion's pricing in the top-of-the-line model, I don't regret going that route at all.

Haven’t and won’t get a chance to install this for a bit since I’m up north, but opening the box everything appears to be what it should be. Orion shipped my order super fast and I had it at my door a few days later. Will definitely buy from them again. Also helped that they had the best price on the 7500k fan too.

So quiet. Easy to install. We received the wrong item from Orion (black interior control panel vs white) We contacted them via email and they immediately gave us several options to make it right. The fan works great and the customer service Orion provides is top notch.

Amazing product so far. Big pro is it's low draw on my jacket 600v. 4 days of use and the battery percentage is still at 70%. Convenience of the remote being able to be used from anywhere. The noise level is very low at 40-50% fan power. I chose this unit instead of maxxair because it matched my van aesthetically and it's very low profile that i'm still able to park inside my work's parking structure. The con was during installation, this unit did not come with a sleeve that bridges the gap from the headliner to the fan itself. It did not sit flush and the manual **** that pushes up the metal rod(the longest one) does not reach because of it. I have to rely on the remote. Very good purchase and it's perfect for what i use it for.

One note on the install: the AirPlus is designed differently than a MaxxFan and does not use or include an interior sleeve. The fan is rated for a maximum roof thickness of about 3 1/8'. By comparison, a MaxxFan 7500K includes a sleeve-style interior garnish that can accommodate a thicker roof/headliner stack, up to about 6'.
