Refund policy

Order Cancellation:

Orders canceled before fulfillment will be refunded in full, minus a 3.6% transaction fee. (Due to Shopify policy changes, transaction fees on all purchases made after April 16th, 2021, are non-refundable.) At the customer’s choice, the 3.6% fee will be handled in one of the following ways:

  • Refund method: the 3.6% fee is deducted from the refund amount.
  • Store credit method: the refund is issued as store credit for the full order total (no 3.6% deduction).

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled for any reason.

Refund/Return Policy:

Purchases made at orionvangear.com can be returned within 30 days of purchase.

Eligibility: 

  • All returned items must be in new, resalable condition and include original packaging, hardware, and accessories.
  • A 20% restocking fee will apply to all returns.
  • The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Mounted or used products
  • Customized products
  • Items categorized as "Final Sale Products" (see below)

If a returned product requires restoration to resalable condition (for example, repair or re-powder coating), that cost will be deducted from your refund in addition to the restocking fee.

Final Sale Products:

  • All electric/powered awning sales are final and non-refundable.
  • All Roam Cases and accessories sales are final and non-refundable.
  • All Air Conditioners are final and non-refundable.
  • Maxxair, Scanstrut, and Kanulock products must be unopened to qualify for return.
  • Gift Cards are non-refundable.

Gift Card Purchases:

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash except where required by law. If a product purchased using a gift card is returned in accordance with our return policy, the refund will be issued as gift card credit. No cash or card refunds will be issued for gift card payments. If an order is paid partially with a gift card and partially with another payment method, refunds will first be applied to the gift card portion. 

Orders for gift cards cannot be canceled once the gift card has been issued or delivered.

Shipping Costs:

If you return an item that originally qualified for free shipping, the original shipping cost incurred by Orion Van Gear will be deducted from your refund.

Local Pickup Cancellations:

Once an order has been received and held at our McMinnville, Oregon, location for local pickup, it cannot be canceled or refunded. If you choose not to pick up your order, our standard storage and abandonment terms apply as outlined in our Shipping Policy.

Return Process:

  1. Contact us first: Email our support team with your order number and reason for return before sending anything back.
  2. Processing time: Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after the package arrives at our facility.
  3. Refund confirmation: You’ll receive an email once your refund has been issued.
  4. Exchanges: To exchange an item, please return it for a refund and place a new order.
  5. RMA labeling: Clearly print your RMA number on the outside of the return shipping label.
