Solis Pocket Stealth+ Roof Rack

The Orion Solis Pocket roof rack & ladder is made with the highest quality. Im very pleased with the overall fit & function of this package.

The rack support lot of cool stuff on the van. We installed the new 400 watts solar panels on the roof plus the ladder. We got to install the lights for the back from other vendor as we couldn't use the one from Orion Gear on Solis Pocket. WeBoost was add on the crossbar get a better reception. We had to replace bolts from WeBoost to fit on the rack.

Just finished installing the Stealth+ roof rack Promaster 159 Solis edition on our Winnebago Solis NPF. It required moving the solar input box and removing the roof access box that were in the way. I only have one word: wow! First the packaging is top notch and everything is so well protected and labeled that it is really easy to locate everything needed. The quality of the parts is perfect and the instructions are really clear. It does fit perfectly and is really solid. I would definitely recommend this roof rack to anyone. Note that the Solis edition is slightly longer to clear the AC unit that is factory installed. I also pre assembled the back deflector as it would have been more complex to do as per the instructions because of AC unit. Next step is to add solar panels.

Purchased this rack system after reviewing several other rack manufacturers and felt that the Orion rack system was a much better product all around. Take your time with the install and follow all steps listed on the installation manual.

Got my ladder put on in the desert. It wasn’t arriving at my home in time for my adventure but no worries, they shipped it to where I was landing for a couple weeks! It is really sturdy and now I can get up and clean my solar but I am seriously pondering a fold down chair next to the air conditioner. It is a whole nother view up there! I have a Solis Pocket and I got the rack and awning and now ladder to complete my system! I guess it took about 7 hours for the rack due to operator error. The awning was about 3 hours to install and the ladder was maybe an hour all said and done. The friend that helped me said, “this is really top quality stuff”

Spent some time researching for a roof rack which would fit our Winnebago Solis Pocket and decided to contact Orion. By chance they had just completed a kit for the Solis Pocket and sent me pictures of the completed project the same day, impressive customer service. I called, again, and asked about an awning and the Orion team gave me some very good advice. I decided to add the Fiamma 45S and Stealth Awning Brackets and the Solar Panel Brackets to my order.

The products arrived and I was impressed with the quality of the Stealth Rack and Awning Brackets, the instructions and related videos; these were well documented and easy to follow. In addition to the design and quality of the products, Team Orion included Loctite and Anti-Seize in the package.

My wife and I installed the roof rack and relocated the solar panel over a weekend and my neighbor and I installed the Fiamma awning in a few hours and we were adventure ready.

At the end of the day, we could not be happier with our decision to go with the Orion Stealth Roof Rack and Fiamma 45S awning. The two (rack and awning) go together like peas and carrots, a super clean and functional set-up which has already proved to be effective for our camping needs.

Tips: Take some time to print and review the instructions and watch the installation videos before you get started. Pick up a “stick” of Loctite Anti-Seize compound for easier and cleaner application (you only need a small amount for each fastener). Use a small plastic tub to keep your tools and Loctite products in one place on the roof during the installation process. If possible, use two ladders and an extra set of hands, especially for the awning install.

Very impressed with everything about this purchase. Great customer service from the Orion team. They needed to verify some measurements for my Solis Pocket configuration and they were on it in every way. once the rack arrived, the packaging was a step above. It arrived in perfect condition because it was packaged incredibly well. Once opened, assembled and installed, it all went flawlessly. Fit and finish was beyond expectation. Very solid company and product. you can see the attention to pride, quality, & detail that the team puts into the product. It is not the least expensive, but it is the best of the best and worth the extra cost.
