The Velit V3 with Ventilation is the updated replacement for the Velit 3000R, built for van and RV owners who want rooftop DC air conditioning with added fresh air movement in a smaller package. It keeps comparable cooling power while upgrading the platform with a smaller footprint, dual fans, and a built-in exhaust fan.
Traditional rooftop AC systems only recirculate cabin air. The Velit V3 is designed differently by combining powerful rooftop air conditioning with integrated fresh-air exhaust ventilation. This helps move stale cabin air out while the AC cools the cabin, giving you one system, one roof opening, and more room for solar or other roof-mounted gear.
With up to 350 CFM of airflow, the built-in exhaust fan can help reduce heat buildup, stale air, odors, and humidity. The 12V model is 10,000 BTU, and the 48V model is 12,000 BTU. Both versions use R32 refrigerant and are designed around a standard 14 in x 14 in roof opening.
The built-in exhaust fan is a compact supplemental fan. It is not a replacement for a larger bi-directional roof fan such as a MaxxFan, Airplus, or Probreeze. It works best alongside a larger roof fan, floor vent, or other ventilation setup.
The built-in fan adds useful fresh air movement, but it should be treated as a compact supplementary fan rather than a full-size roof fan replacement.

No. The built-in fan is a compact supplemental ventilation fan. It is useful for added airflow, but it is not a direct replacement for a larger 9 in or larger roof fan.
It can be noticeable above 50 percent speed. Lower fan speeds are recommended when quieter operation is more important than maximum airflow.
The V3 is designed around a standard 14 in x 14 in roof opening with plus or minus 1/2 in tolerance.
Sealant is not listed as an included item. For van installs or other uneven roof surfaces, sealant should be purchased separately. Flat RV roof installations may not require additional sealant depending on the install surface.
The manual lists the V3 air conditioner, air distribution box assembly, mounting bracket, sealing gasket, return air filter, leveling blocks, ducts, wiring harness, remote, display panel, user manual, cutting template, hardware kit, zip ties, and cable tie mounts.
The manual recommends 75A+ supply current for the 12V model and 30A+ supply current for the 48V model.

Love it! I researched a lot before deciding on Orion. I just think their design out looks all the others. This is functional, solid, and easy install. Customer service was excellent. They answered all my questions. I didn’t build my van, I bought it already done. Solar panel and all, I was able to move the solar panel to a better location using their solar panel brackets, I’ll easily add some decking following their recommendations of what decking product to use, and be able to store items I don’t want in the van. Love supporting a local Oregon business. Would recommend them to everyone. Oh and I got the rack with the lights. Totally recommend. The install was perfect and they really light up the night!

I just drove the van for the first time with the rack and 400w solar upgrade installed. At 70+ mph (eastbound) the wind noise / speech intelligibility was not degraded and may have even improved. The front fairing and its integration into the rack is a very nice design. Looks fantastic on the van. Excellent engineering! The assembly guides are well detailed and the team responds to all additional questions within 24 hours, which is outstanding support. The slightly higher premium paid for the Orion Van Gear Stealth Rack verses the completion is worth every penny. Highly recommended.
