What's Included:
The Velit 2000R is designed to fit standard 14 × 14-inch rooftop openings. Additional sealant is required for camper van installations or other uneven roof surfaces and must be purchased separately. According to Velit, additional sealant is not required for flat roof installations, such as typical RV roofs, when installed using the supplied sealing gasket and proper mounting procedures.
All Velit returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee plus shipping. Returned items must be in their original packaging and original condition.

Great A/C so far, combined with DIYVan roof adapter, able to make it sit flush with ceiling on inside of the van. On a 170EXT, I opted for (2) of the 48v mini A/C to separate front and back. Combined with the 5kwh Ecoflow system, I can run both AC all night off battery power only. I'm happy with them, and Orion is always a huge help in answering questions and support.

Does the Velit 2000r also work as a heater as well as an AC? Also, I am interested in your roof rack system for the 2026 Ford mid-roof with the new antenna placement.
No, the Velit 2000R AC does not have a heating element. It is designed as a rooftop air conditioner only. When the desired temperature is reached, does the compressor turn off? If so, what is the wattage or amp draw for just the fan on a 12v unit.
Yes it will turn off if the ambient temp drops below set temp, drawing less than 80W based on the fan speed setting

So far so good. Installed on my Sportsmobile converted dodge promaster. Waiting for the rain to see how it does in wet conditions. Once I figured out how to install it was VERY easy. Only ask would be more details on initial installation process since I wasn't sure exactly where to place the track. Once I got it installed and put the fly in the track it was so easy. Excited for how this will work on my pop-top van.

What can I say? Orion takes great care of their customers. They went out of their way to help me and I appreciate it. I also found out too late that they sell 8020 Roll in nuts. I use the 10 series for my build. The nice thing about Orion‘s 10 series rolling nuts is they have a register on top of the nut that keeps it from twisting in the extrusion. I wish I would’ve known this when I bought all my hardware. I would’ve definitely bought this product from Orion. Check them out.
