A bifacial solar panel is designed to capture sunlight from both the front and rear sides, unlike traditional monofacial panels. This allows for increased energy production by utilizing both direct sunlight and reflected light.
Bifacial solar panels offer greater efficiency than traditional monofacial panels, as they generate energy from both sides. This makes them ideal for maximizing power output in diverse environments, such as rooftops or off-grid systems.
Yes, 200-watt bifacial solar panels are worth it. They use direct, refracted, and diffuse sunlight from both the front and back sides, significantly increasing energy production compared to standard panels.
If you order two 200-watt bifacial solar panels, they will arrive in two separate packages. Each package will have its own tracking number to ensure smooth delivery.
No, the 200-watt bifacial solar panel does not include a Y-branch parallel connector. You can find a compatible "Solar Y Branch Connector 1 to 3" available on our website.
Yes, the IP67 connector that comes with the panel is waterproof, offering reliable protection in various weather conditions to keep your system running smoothly.
No, BougeRV 200-watt bifacial solar panels are different from traditional monocrystalline panels. They feature solar cells on both the front and back sides, enhancing energy capture and overall efficiency.
We recommend using the matching brackets for your vehicle. Pair the panel with Promaster Stealth+ Flush Solar Panel Brackets, Sprinter Stealth+ Flush Solar Panel Brackets, or Transit Stealth+ Solar Brackets, along with a Stealth+ Roof Rack for a seamless, flush-mounted installation.

Great A/C so far, combined with DIYVan roof adapter, able to make it sit flush with ceiling on inside of the van. On a 170EXT, I opted for (2) of the 48v mini A/C to separate front and back. Combined with the 5kwh Ecoflow system, I can run both AC all night off battery power only. I'm happy with them, and Orion is always a huge help in answering questions and support.
This roof rack is a Cadillac. Clear, well written instructions in full English. I wanted a rack that could fit 600 watts of solar, a rooftop AC and a max air fan. Steve helped me last the design out and chose panels. The goal was to fit two 200w panels in North/South orientation by the wind deflector, AC and maxxair fan in the big bay aft of the c pillar rib and a third 200w panel by the rear deflector.
This rack has more usable interior space than any other rack I could find, especially in the East/West measurement. It is rock solid, only weighs 80lbs and looks great.
It is one of the more expensive racks out there but for my build it was money well spent. I like supporting American companies that make nice things and this is a very nice thing.
Great company to work with, thanks for prompt delivery ,,,,.5 stars for this company.
Great setup. The dual 48V minis are a nice way to control front and rear zones on a 170EXT, and pairing them with the EcoFlow 5kWh system works really well for overnight runtime. Glad everything is working well, and we appreciate the support. Let us know if you ever need anything.
Really appreciate you taking the time to write this and share the details of your setup. That layout you described is exactly the type of planning we try to make possible with these racks. Being able to fit solar, ventilation, and AC without wasting roof space is a big part of the design. Glad the CAD layout helped you land on a configuration that worked. Also good to hear the install instructions did their job. We put a lot of effort into making them clear so people can actually get everything mounted without a headache. Thanks again for the support and for choosing to go with an american-made rack. Always cool to see these builds come together the way they were intended.
We just installed a Stealth+ on our 2026 High Roof Transit. So glad to have an option that works with the new shark fin antenna location in the '26 model year. Another advantage of the Stealth+ rack is that its usable area is wider and longer than other racks. That, along with the Orion team's help in providing CAD layouts was SUPER helpful in thinking through our roof layout and how to fit 600W of solar along with a vent fan and Starlink Mini.
Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that the Stealth+ was a perfect fit for your 2026 High Roof Transit, especially with the new shark fin antenna location. We take pride in providing solutions that cater to the latest updates. Thank you for choosing Orion and happy travels!
