This can be installed in various ways. For roof racks with extruded aluminum crossbars like Orion racks have. You can either use the rugged mount (quick release) or the rigid mount (lighter and fixed mounting).

The 83L Rugged Mounts are the perfect low-profile solution for rooftop storage. They have quick-release levers and are lockable.
The 83L Rigid Mount is a hard-mounted system designed to be able to mount an 83L Rugged Case to your roof rack or anything with mounting capability. Its design allows the mount to shoehorn into the tie-down channels of the 83L Rugged Case and has 1/4" holes to bolt down to your rack or flat surface.

We just installed a Stealth+ on our 2026 High Roof Transit. So glad to have an option that works with the new shark fin antenna location in the '26 model year. Another advantage of the Stealth+ rack is that its usable area is wider and longer than other racks. That, along with the Orion team's help in providing CAD layouts was SUPER helpful in thinking through our roof layout and how to fit 600W of solar along with a vent fan and Starlink Mini.
