The Comvolt 6000 system is designed for people who want a reliable power solution and to get up and running quickly, without becoming an electrical expert.

Instead of researching batteries, inverters, fuse blocks, breakers, wiring sizes, control panels, and how they all work together, Comvolt packages the critical components into one compact, compatible system that is already sized, protected, and tested to work as a whole. That means fewer decisions, simpler installation, and a much faster path from unboxing to usable power. The result: a more capable system that covers real-world needs and just works.

What This Saves You From:

  • Figuring out inverter sizing and surge limits
  • Designing safe, 12V and 120V fused circuits
  • Mixing incompatible components
  • Managing messy wiring and unlabeled fuse blocks
  • Troubleshooting charging or power issues

How the Core and Complete Systems Work

The Comvolt Core and Complete Systems deliver an integrated power kit experience similar in concept to EcoFlow Power Kits, combining battery storage, fused AC and DC distribution, and centralized monitoring. Comvolt focuses on the essential functionality most van and RV builds need, while EcoFlow Power Kits offer a more advanced, premium solution with deeper integration and expanded features. Think of it like this:

  1. The battery stores your energy
  2. The built-in inverter converts DC power to usable 120V AC
  3. Integrated solar and alternator charging manage how power comes in
  4. AC and DC PDUs safely distribute that power to individual, fused circuits
  5. The 7" Smart Display lets you monitor load and turn circuits on or off in real time

Comvolt Smart Battery Display 7"

Effortless Connectivity and Comprehensive Monitoring: The 7" Smart Display provides real-time visibility into battery status, charging, and power usage. It connects directly to the Comvolt system and supports up to 10 battery units using a proprietary communication protocol.

  • Real-Time Battery and System Monitoring
  • Single-screen view for up to 10 batteries
  • Easy installation for RVs and camper vans
  • Compatible with Victron-based monitoring ecosystems

Comvolt Power Distribution Units (PDUs)

What Are the AC and DC PDUs? The Comvolt PDUs act as smart, fused power distribution hubs between the Comvolt 6000 power station and your appliances. Instead of running multiple loose wires directly from the battery, the PDUs centralize power distribution, protect each circuit, and allow both manual and screen-based control from one clean location. Both PDUs connect directly to the Comvolt system and the 7" Display.

Key Benefits

  • Clean, professional wiring for vans and RVs
  • Individual circuit protection per output
  • Manual switches plus screen-based control
  • Communication with the 7" Smart Display via RJ45
  • Designed specifically for mobile and off-grid systems

DC Power Distribution Unit (DC PDU)

Purpose: Safely distributes high-current 12V DC power to accessories like lights, fans, water pumps, fridges, heaters and other devices. Replaces a traditional 12V fuse block.

Key Features

  • 8 independently protected DC output circuits
  • High-current input up to 120A
  • Manual switch or display-based control per circuit
  • Self-healing fuse and internal circuit breakers
  • Designed for continuous mobile use

AC Power Distribution Unit (AC PDU)

Purpose: Safely distributes 120V AC power from the inverter to appliances such as outlets, induction cooktops, air conditioners, microwaves, and tools.

Key Features

  • 6 AC output circuits
  • Designed for 120V AC inverter output
  • Manual switches plus display control
  • Individual circuit protection
  • Designed for mobile power systems

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) click to expand

1.Can this power a 12V air conditioner all night?

Yes. The Comvolt 6000 was engineered for high-draw 12V air conditioning systems and can deliver overnight runtime in many real-world builds. Actual runtime depends on temperature, insulation, and air conditioner duty cycle.

2.What makes this different from a DIY van power system?

Comvolt combines the battery, inverter, charging, fused distribution, and monitoring into one coordinated system. This removes the need to design and wire a custom electrical setup from scratch, saving time and reducing complexity.

3.Is this compatible with my van or RV’s existing 12V system?

Yes. The Comvolt 6000 integrates easily with most camper van and RV electrical systems using standard 12V connections, Anderson connectors, and AC output.

4.What are the AC and DC Power Distribution Units (PDUs)?

The AC and DC PDUs are smart, fused power distribution hubs that safely route power from the battery and inverter to individual circuits. They replace traditional fuse blocks and breaker panels with cleaner wiring and centralized control.

5.What can I power from the DC PDU?

The DC PDU powers 12V devices such as lights, fans, water pumps, fridges, diesel heaters, USB outlets, and other accessories. Each circuit is individually protected and controllable.

6.What can I power from the AC PDU?

The AC PDU distributes 120V AC power from the inverter to outlets and appliances like induction cooktops, microwaves, laptops, tools, and small air conditioners.

7.How do I monitor and control the system?

The optional 7" Smart Display provides real-time system monitoring and allows you to turn individual AC and DC circuits on or off from a single screen.

8.How does the Comvolt 6000 charge?

The system supports three charging methods: solar panels (20–45V up to 400W), vehicle alternator charging, and shore power. Integrated charging components automatically manage power input to protect the battery.

9.Can I expand the system later?

Yes. Multiple Comvolt battery units can be connected in parallel to expand total capacity up to 100kWh, making it easy to grow the system as your power needs increase.

10.Who is the Comvolt 6000 best suited for?

The Comvolt 6000 is ideal for van builders, RV owners, and off-grid users who want a reliable power system without designing and troubleshooting a full custom electrical build.
