Instead of researching batteries, inverters, fuse blocks, breakers, wiring sizes, control panels, and how they all work together, Comvolt packages the critical components into one compact, compatible system that is already sized, protected, and tested to work as a whole. That means fewer decisions, simpler installation, and a much faster path from unboxing to usable power. The result: a more capable system that covers real-world needs and just works. If you want a smaller, lighter setup that still covers basic van power needs, check out the Comvolt 4200.
The Comvolt Core and Complete Systems deliver an integrated power kit experience similar in concept to EcoFlow Power Kits, combining battery storage, fused AC and DC distribution, and centralized monitoring. Comvolt focuses on the essential functionality most van and RV builds need, while EcoFlow Power Kits offer a more advanced, premium solution with deeper integration and expanded features. Think of it like this:
Effortless Connectivity and Comprehensive Monitoring: The 7" Smart Display provides real-time visibility into battery status, charging, and power usage. It connects directly to the Comvolt system and supports up to 10 battery units using a proprietary communication protocol.
What Are the AC and DC PDUs? The Comvolt PDUs act as smart, fused power distribution hubs between the Comvolt 6000 power station and your appliances. Instead of running multiple loose wires directly from the battery, the PDUs centralize power distribution, protect each circuit, and allow both manual and screen-based control from one clean location. Both PDUs connect directly to the Comvolt system and the 7" Display.
Key Benefits
Purpose: Safely distributes high-current 12V DC power to accessories like lights, fans, water pumps, fridges, heaters and other devices. Replaces a traditional 12V fuse block.
Key Features
Purpose: Safely distributes 120V AC power from the inverter to appliances such as outlets, induction cooktops, air conditioners, microwaves, and tools.
Yes. The Comvolt 6000 was engineered for high-draw 12V air conditioning systems and can deliver overnight runtime in many real-world builds. Actual runtime depends on temperature, insulation, and air conditioner duty cycle.
Comvolt combines the battery, inverter, charging, fused distribution, and monitoring into one coordinated system. This removes the need to design and wire a custom electrical setup from scratch, saving time and reducing complexity.
Yes. The Comvolt 6000 integrates easily with most camper van and RV electrical systems using standard 12V connections, Anderson connectors, and AC output.
The AC and DC PDUs are smart, fused power distribution hubs that safely route power from the battery and inverter to individual circuits. They replace traditional fuse blocks and breaker panels with cleaner wiring and centralized control.
The DC PDU powers 12V devices such as lights, fans, water pumps, fridges, diesel heaters, USB outlets, and other accessories. Each circuit is individually protected and controllable.
The AC PDU distributes 120V AC power from the inverter to outlets and appliances like induction cooktops, microwaves, laptops, tools, and small air conditioners.
The optional 7" Smart Display provides real-time system monitoring and allows you to turn individual AC and DC circuits on or off from a single screen.
The system supports three charging methods: solar panels (via dual MPPT controllers each providing 20–45V up to 400W, for 800w total input), vehicle alternator charging, and shore power. Integrated charging components automatically manage power input to protect the battery.
Yes. Multiple Comvolt battery units can be connected in parallel to expand total capacity up to 100kWh, making it easy to grow the system as your power needs increase.
The Comvolt 6000 is ideal for van builders, RV owners, and off-grid users who want a reliable power system without designing and troubleshooting a full custom electrical build.

I just finished the install of the MaxxFan Deluxe, replacing a stock vent fan in our new Class C MH. Following the written (and online ‘how to’ videos) guidance, the install was straightforward. Most of the 3.5 hour job was spent cleaning off the old lap sealant in preparation for the new fan.
Fan works well in all functions. Thank you MaxxAir for a good product and thank you Orion for a great sales price!

So quiet. Easy to install. We received the wrong item from Orion (black interior control panel vs white) We contacted them via email and they immediately gave us several options to make it right. The fan works great and the customer service Orion provides is top notch.
Orion Van Gear offered the best pricing on my two new MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe fans and they arrive SO fast. The install on our our 5th wheel went exceptionally well. Thank you for the great experiences.
Hi Jamye, Sorry about the mix-up with the interior panel, but we're glad we could resolve it quickly. Thanks for your kind words and video! Its a slick fan!
Amazing product so far. Big pro is it's low draw on my jacket 600v. 4 days of use and the battery percentage is still at 70%. Convenience of the remote being able to be used from anywhere. The noise level is very low at 40-50% fan power. I chose this unit instead of maxxair because it matched my van aesthetically and it's very low profile that i'm still able to park inside my work's parking structure. The con was during installation, this unit did not come with a sleeve that bridges the gap from the headliner to the fan itself. It did not sit flush and the manual **** that pushes up the metal rod(the longest one) does not reach because of it. I have to rely on the remote. Very good purchase and it's perfect for what i use it for.
We’re glad to hear the NomadicArk fan has been working well for your setup, especially the low power draw, quiet operation, remote control, and low-profile fit for parking structures.
One note on the install: the AirPlus is designed differently than a MaxxFan and does not use or include an interior sleeve. The fan is rated for a maximum roof thickness of about 3 1/8'. By comparison, a MaxxFan 7500K includes a sleeve-style interior garnish that can accommodate a thicker roof/headliner stack, up to about 6'.
Thanks again for the feedback, and we’re happy it ended up being a great fit for your van.
