The new Nomadic X3 is a work of art and engineering. This 48V A/C is the go-to for Overlanders, RV'ers, Vancampers, and anyone looking to go further in comfort. The 48v version is directly compatible with Ecoflow Power Kits up to 10 kWh via a 48v cable that connects directly to one of the spare battery ports and allows you to operate the 48v AC directly off of the 48V battery in addition to a normal 12v or 24v distribution panel. And yes, you can still get this AC in 12V and 24V if preferred.

Like its predecessors, this A/C is a stand-alone air conditioner that does not need to be connected to the engine or shore power to operate, providing the freedom of genuine off-the-grid living.

The original Nomadic A/C was considered one of the smallest A/C systems on the market, but the Nomadic team envisioned an even smaller footprint. So a few prototypes later, the dimensions were significantly reduced and performance increased by using a much quieter and longer-lasting brushless internal fan. The compressor has also been mounted on spring bushings to help with road and operational vibration and longevity. The upgrades do not stop there, as Nomadic focused on the all-new intelligent LCD board. The X3 has an all-new modern crisper panel to ensure better visibility even in direct sunlight. The entire MCB has been revamped with better electrical components, circuitry, and more intelligent operational logic. This translates to the compressor adapting considerably faster to freezing points, better error code detection, and speedier motor over-current, providing less supervision and downtime. The internal faceplates feature sleek black powder-coated aluminum panels.

      Shipping & Returns

      Order Cancellation:

      • Orders that are canceled before fulfillment will be refunded in full, minus a 3% transaction fee.*
      • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled for any reason.
        *Due to Shopify policy changes, transaction fees on all purchases made after April 16th, 2021, are non-refundable.

      Refund/Return Policy:

      • Purchases made at orionvangear.com can be returned within 30 days of purchase.
        • Eligibility: All returned items must be in new, resalable condition and include original packaging and all hardware and accessories.
        • A 20% restocking fee will apply to all returns.
        • The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
      • International Returns: We do not accept returns on international orders. All international sales are final.
      • Non-returnable items:
        • Mounted or used products are not eligible for return.
        • Customized items are not eligible for return.
      • If a returned product needs restoration to a new, resalable condition (e.g., repair, re-powder coating), the cost of restoration will be deducted from the refund in addition to the standard restocking fee.

      Shipping Costs:

      • If you return an item that did not originally incur shipping costs, the original shipping cost incurred by Orion Van Gear will be deducted from your refund.

      Return Process:

      1. Contact us first: Call us at (971) 267-2552 for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning any product.
      2. Processing time: Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after the package arrives at our facility.
      3. Refund confirmation: A refund will be processed, and you will receive a confirmation by email.
      4. Exchanges: To exchange an item, please return it for a refund and place a new order for the product you want.
      5. RMA labeling: Clearly print your RMA number on the shipping label of your return.
