Victron's Orion-Tr Smart Non-Isolated is a DC to DC charger designed for dual-battery systems where a starter battery and alternator charge a separate service battery. It supports both lead-acid and lithium battery types (model dependent) and includes built-in Bluetooth for monitoring and configuration in the VictronConnect app. It can also be configured for use as a power supply, depending on application and model.

nice unit. instructions not very useful- ambigous, not clear simple english. not simple set up.- no opportunity to set up until fully powered and phone works w app. but instructions caution to not connect until set up, but cant set up until connected???? had to fully connect and power up to set up. unclear how to set up power to specify an alternator voltage, just gotta let it run at whatever voltage it wants....hope it doesnt overwork/ fry alternator.

It does need to be powered before the app can connect and complete setup. We’ve passed your feedback along to Victron so they can consider it in future documentation updates.
For alternator protection, the current limit and charging settings can be adjusted in the app once connected. If anything is unclear during setup, our team is always happy to help verify the settings for your specific vehicle and alternator.
So far so good. Installed on my Sportsmobile converted dodge promaster. Waiting for the rain to see how it does in wet conditions. Once I figured out how to install it was VERY easy. Only ask would be more details on initial installation process since I wasn't sure exactly where to place the track. Once I got it installed and put the fly in the track it was so easy. Excited for how this will work on my pop-top van.

Love the Stealth+ rack for my 2026 Ford Transit. Orion's team has been great to work with. Everything arrived on time and is high quality. Installation instructions via the PDF on their website were excellent. Text and graphics in the instructions were accurate and contained just the right amount of information.
Love it! I researched a lot before deciding on Orion. I just think their design out looks all the others. This is functional, solid, and easy install. Customer service was excellent. They answered all my questions. I didn’t build my van, I bought it already done. Solar panel and all, I was able to move the solar panel to a better location using their solar panel brackets, I’ll easily add some decking following their recommendations of what decking product to use, and be able to store items I don’t want in the van. Love supporting a local Oregon business. Would recommend them to everyone. Oh and I got the rack with the lights. Totally recommend. The install was perfect and they really light up the night!
