By sealing only solid waste, the S1 helps reduce bag use compared with traditional sealing toilets that bag everything together. It is designed for off-grid use in vans, RVs, boats, and compact spaces where water-free operation and simple waste handling matter.

The urine diverter routes liquid waste into a removable bottle, while the internal heat-sealing system discreetly seals solid waste out of sight.
