The Sprinter Wheel Wrap Side Ladder now features a new flat step design, replacing the original round tube step style. This updated version keeps the same overall ladder concept while adding a more practical stepping surface and improved mounting flexibility for accessories. Each step now includes laser-cut mounting points for carriage bolts on both the front and back sides of the rung. That gives you more attachment options for accessories and add-ons, while keeping the ladder itself functional as a clean side-access solution for roof access and gear mounting support.
Specifically created to work in situations where other ladders cause issues. It is slightly narrower than most ladders, so it doesn't block a front T-vent window or bunk window from opening. The standard version of the wheel wrap ladder is designed to attach directly to the side of a Stealth+ Rack. The roof rail bracket version can be mounted to OEM roof rails and is intended for vans that don't have a roof rack. Cleaning solar panels, mounting gear, removing snow, and lounging on roof deck panels all become easily accessible with the help of a side ladder.
This updated version uses flat steps instead of round tube steps and adds laser-cut carriage bolt mounting points on both the front and back sides of each rung.
Made from 1.25” aluminum tubing in a two-piece design. The ladder curves around the rear wheel-well to maximize its aesthetics and functionality. If you're looking to mount your ladder farther forward, check out our standard sprinter ladder. All the hardware for mounting to the Stealth+ Roof Rack System is included. The lower portion of the ladder mounts to the pinch seam with a provided bracket and into the Stealth+ Rack at the top. If mounted to a van without an Orion roof rack, you need to select the roof rail bracket version.
It is a side ladder designed specifically for 2007 and newer high roof Mercedes Sprinter vans. The wheel wrap design follows the rear wheel well area for a clean look while providing easy roof access.
This updated version uses a new flat step design instead of the original round tube step style. Each rung also includes laser-cut mounting points for carriage bolts on both the front and back sides for improved accessory mounting flexibility.
The ladder is made from 1.25 inch aluminum tubing for a strong but lightweight design and features a premium UV-resistant black powder coat finish.
The ladder has an 11 inch step width and weighs approximately 11 pounds.
The two-piece wheel wrap design contours around the rear wheel well for a cleaner look and strong functionality. It is also slightly narrower than many ladders, which helps avoid blocking a front T-vent window or bunk window from opening.
Yes. The ladder is designed for straightforward installation and includes the necessary hardware.
The standard version attaches directly to the side of a Stealth+ Roof Rack using three attachment points, with drilling required. The lower portion mounts to the pinch seam using the included bracket. A roof rail bracket version is also available for certain vans without a roof rack.
This ladder is compatible with 2007 and newer high roof Mercedes Sprinter vans.
The flat steps include laser-cut carriage bolt mounting points on both the front and back sides of each rung. These mounting points make it easier to attach compatible accessories and brackets while keeping the ladder functional for roof access.
A side ladder makes it easier to access the roof for cleaning solar panels, mounting or removing gear, accessing a roof deck, brushing off snow, or using roof-mounted accessories more conveniently.

I just finished the install of the MaxxFan Deluxe, replacing a stock vent fan in our new Class C MH. Following the written (and online ‘how to’ videos) guidance, the install was straightforward. Most of the 3.5 hour job was spent cleaning off the old lap sealant in preparation for the new fan.
Fan works well in all functions. Thank you MaxxAir for a good product and thank you Orion for a great sales price!
Tonto H.
So quiet. Easy to install. We received the wrong item from Orion (black interior control panel vs white) We contacted them via email and they immediately gave us several options to make it right. The fan works great and the customer service Orion provides is top notch.
Hi Jamye, Sorry about the mix-up with the interior panel, but we're glad we could resolve it quickly. Thanks for your kind words and video! Its a slick fan!
Amazing product so far. Big pro is it's low draw on my jacket 600v. 4 days of use and the battery percentage is still at 70%. Convenience of the remote being able to be used from anywhere. The noise level is very low at 40-50% fan power. I chose this unit instead of maxxair because it matched my van aesthetically and it's very low profile that i'm still able to park inside my work's parking structure. The con was during installation, this unit did not come with a sleeve that bridges the gap from the headliner to the fan itself. It did not sit flush and the manual **** that pushes up the metal rod(the longest one) does not reach because of it. I have to rely on the remote. Very good purchase and it's perfect for what i use it for.
We’re glad to hear the NomadicArk fan has been working well for your setup, especially the low power draw, quiet operation, remote control, and low-profile fit for parking structures.
One note on the install: the AirPlus is designed differently than a MaxxFan and does not use or include an interior sleeve. The fan is rated for a maximum roof thickness of about 3 1/8'. By comparison, a MaxxFan 7500K includes a sleeve-style interior garnish that can accommodate a thicker roof/headliner stack, up to about 6'.
Thanks again for the feedback, and we’re happy it ended up being a great fit for your van.
Orion Van Gear offered the best pricing on my two new MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe fans and they arrive SO fast. The install on our our 5th wheel went exceptionally well. Thank you for the great experiences.
