The Fiamma F45s is easy to use and straightforward to install. It blends proven Italian build quality with the features you want on a daily-use awning. Open it, and you add real covered space in under a minute. The case is compact and stays snug against the van when stowed. It’s sturdy, smooth to operate, and locks down cleanly, with an easy-to-hook winch loop for quick setup. Manual Crank by default with two optional electric motor upgrades: Standard Motor or Advanced Motor. Motors come with a physical on/off wall switch, but advanced models can be controlled by the Fiamma App via bluetooth. *Adding a motor adds an additional 2-3 weeks to lead time, as it will come preinstalled. A motor will add ~5" in length. You can special-order a motor separately and install it yourself to get both sooner. Contact us if this is desired.

Mounting Brackets: Use Promaster F45s Brackets if mounting to a Promaster Stealth+ Roof Rack (sold separately). No additional brackets are necessary beyond what's included for mounting to our Transit or Sprinter Roof Rack. (50mm M6 bolts come with brackets, may need to be trimmed down depending on your layout)

1.Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer free shipping to the lower 48 states. Some addresses may incur an additional $100 "beyond area" surcharge. For Canadian, Alaskan, and Hawaiian customers, please call or email for freight quotes.

2.How long does delivery take?

Delivery typically takes 2–3 weeks via truck freight depending on location. Please contact us to check on shipping estimates for a particular awning before placing your order if time-dependent.

3.What should I know about freight deliveries?

As with all freight deliveries, the customer is required to take possession of the awning off the back of the freight truck. Packages are not delivered to your door. The freight company normally calls you to schedule a delivery time once the awning is within the last few miles of delivery.

Yes, the awning comes with a manual crank by default. An optional electric motor upgrade is available, which adds 2–3 weeks to the lead time for installation and adds roughly 5" in overall length.

8.What is the standard fabric color for the awning?

The standard fabric color is Royal Gray.

9.What vehicles are compatible with the Fiamma F45s Awning?

The F45s Awning is compatible with various van models, including Promaster, Transit, and Sprinter vans. See compatibility chart above in description. It is a wall mount or "flat backed" awning and is intended to be installed on roof racks. If you don't want a roof rack, look at our F80s page.

10.Are there specific brackets needed for installation?

For mounting to a Promaster Stealth+ Roof Rack, use the Promaster F45s Brackets (sold separately). No extra brackets are needed to attach to a Sprinter Stealth+ Roof Rack or a Transit Stealth+ Roof Rack beyond the included Fiamma brackets.

11.Is the installation DIY-friendly?

Yes, the F45s Awning is designed for easy installation with included instructions and necessary hardware. It helps to have a friend or spouse to assist with the installation.

As advertised, straight forward install. Seems expensive, but it is way more stout than a strip of LED lights that goes on with adhesive. Slides into existing groove so there's no way its coming loose.

Perfect w/a one qualm

I had it all!
Orion promptly answered all questions via email prior to my purchase, easing any concerns I had regarding making the correct purchase.
Installation was slicker than the driveway in February. The ONE thing that added an unnecessary hour or more to the install was finding out I needed a sealant to put between the roof mount bracket and the roof to prevent damage. The instructions say to apply a particular product not easily available, yet a common RV seal nonetheless. Orion again responded quickly, yet seems it would so easy to preload this information.

We just installed a Stealth+ on our 2026 High Roof Transit. So glad to have an option that works with the new shark fin antenna location in the '26 model year. Another advantage of the Stealth+ rack is that its usable area is wider and longer than other racks. That, along with the Orion team's help in providing CAD layouts was SUPER helpful in thinking through our roof layout and how to fit 600W of solar along with a vent fan and Starlink Mini.

Easy installation and looks good

Great rack, lightweight, easy to assemble, solid, no added noise, fits (2) 200w Renogy ShadowFlux panels flush mounted with room to spare, no added noise, and looks great. Highly recommend.

I'm excited to start using this panel in my off grid system I'm building. I have a truck tool box I have 3 lifepo4 100ah batteries and a victron 100-50 charge controller. 3000watt power inverter. I will have 120 and 12 volt out puts. and all the wiring and fuses and switches I need for my build. This panel I will mount to the top of the box. Only thing I could gripe about is the corners of the panel are very sharp and a concern about cutting myself is the only thing I can complain about but that's not really a issue. Kinda wish the panel would at least have came with basic mounting hardware. It ships with just the panel and nothing else not even a spec sheet. Over all I'm happy to complete my project using this high quality panel.

Thanks for the review, and glad the panel is a good fit for your off grid build, that sounds like a solid setup. Good callout on the corners. They’re aluminum and can feel sharp out of the box, so we always recommend handling with gloves during install. On the specs, they’re on the sticker on the back of the panel.

Great side ladder for Ford Transit! We've got a 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD with the Orion Van Gear Stealth rack and just installed the side ladder to go with it. It fits nicely with the side profile of the van and has been rock solid on two road trips so far. If you've got a roof rack and need an easy way to climb up to it, this is a great fit.

Great roof rack for Transit! We've been rocking the Stealth Roof Rack on our 2023 Ford Transit 350 High Roof XL AWD for a year now and it's been excellent. No noise, vibration, wind drag and it's designed nicely to snug up against the roofline. We ordered ours with the 2X scene (rear flood) lights and I highly recommend that. It's a nice easy way to shine some light on your loadouts and load-ins at night or while the sun is coming or going!
