Designed for maximum compatibility and efficiency, this cable connects to the dedicated 48V output on the EcoFlow 5kVA Power Hub or to one of the three battery ports on the 3.6kVA Power Hub, enabling full 100A output (up to 4800W) to run high-performance AC units.
Whether you’re installing a 48V Velit AC, or a Nomadic X2/X3 48V AC, this cable ensures reliable delivery of power with minimal loss over distance. Built tough and ready for mobile applications, it's an essential upgrade for off-grid vanlifers, RV travelers, and marine setups using 48V appliances.
Note: For optimal run time, pair your air conditioner with the EcoFlow 5kVA Power Kit and either the 10kWh or 15kWh battery configuration to ensure sustained comfort and performance.
This cable connects the EcoFlow 48V output port or battery port to a 48V DC air conditioner using a bare wire termination.
It works with both the EcoFlow 5kVA Power Hub (Gen 2) and 3.6kVA Power Hub (Gen 1) systems.
This cable is ideal for powering 48V air conditioners such as the Nomadic 48v, Velit 3000R/2000R 48v, and other 48V units.
The cable is 20 feet long, giving you flexibility when wiring rooftop or interior-mounted AC systems.
It supports up to 100A at 48V (4800W max) for full-performance 48V air conditioning systems.
No. This cable features a 4-post plug on one end that plugs directly into the Power Hub and bare wires on the other for easy wiring into any 48V DC air conditioner or breaker system. It can be used with a multi-tap connector like a 2-port Polaris lug (not included) to connect wires of dissimilar sizes. Always follow the installation advice of your 48V air conditioner appliance before installing.
Yes, as long as the appliance accepts bare wire 48V DC input and draws within 100A. It's ideal for air conditioners but can power other high-demand 48V loads too.

Setup was super easy. The ECOFLOW Gen 2 is basically plug-and-play, everything is clearly labeled. Also ORION has been super helpful with any questions along the way!
Thanks, AJ! Easy setup, clear labels, real support. Enjoy the system and the extra off-grid time.
My original build plan was to build a conventional Victron system from the ground up, but having little electrical experience I was super anxious about risks involved. Orion turned me on to EcoFlow and it was a game changer. Truly a plug and play system, simplifying getting power in the van enormously. After a year of use with only a couple of minor start up issues (which helped me solve) it’s been exactly as advertised. My 10kwh system is configured 12v on the output side but 48v on the input side and with three input ports that means I can use 2 for the 5kwh batteries and the third port for my Nomadic X2 48v air con unit which generates close to 13,000 btus- perfect combo. The UI is super simple, elegant and easy to use both on the van mounted console and the smart phone app. With simple hook ups for solar, alternator charging and shore power the system has been powerful and reliable. I see and hear about more and more pro upfitters installing EcoFlow systems rather than conventional systems - there’s a reason for that. Great system - highly recommended.
We are thrilled to hear that our system has simplified the process of getting power in your van and has been reliable for you. We are also glad that the UI has been easy to use and that you have been able to integrate our system with your Nomadic X2 air con unit. Thank you for recommending our product and for choosing EcoFlow. We appreciate your support and are always here to assist you with any questions or concerns. Happy travels!
I just finished the install of the MaxxFan Deluxe, replacing a stock vent fan in our new Class C MH. Following the written (and online ‘how to’ videos) guidance, the install was straightforward. Most of the 3.5 hour job was spent cleaning off the old lap sealant in preparation for the new fan.
Fan works well in all functions. Thank you MaxxAir for a good product and thank you Orion for a great sales price!
Tonto H.
So quiet. Easy to install. We received the wrong item from Orion (black interior control panel vs white) We contacted them via email and they immediately gave us several options to make it right. The fan works great and the customer service Orion provides is top notch.
Hi Jamye, Sorry about the mix-up with the interior panel, but we're glad we could resolve it quickly. Thanks for your kind words and video! Its a slick fan!
Amazing product so far. Big pro is it's low draw on my jacket 600v. 4 days of use and the battery percentage is still at 70%. Convenience of the remote being able to be used from anywhere. The noise level is very low at 40-50% fan power. I chose this unit instead of maxxair because it matched my van aesthetically and it's very low profile that i'm still able to park inside my work's parking structure. The con was during installation, this unit did not come with a sleeve that bridges the gap from the headliner to the fan itself. It did not sit flush and the manual **** that pushes up the metal rod(the longest one) does not reach because of it. I have to rely on the remote. Very good purchase and it's perfect for what i use it for.
We’re glad to hear the NomadicArk fan has been working well for your setup, especially the low power draw, quiet operation, remote control, and low-profile fit for parking structures.
One note on the install: the AirPlus is designed differently than a MaxxFan and does not use or include an interior sleeve. The fan is rated for a maximum roof thickness of about 3 1/8'. By comparison, a MaxxFan 7500K includes a sleeve-style interior garnish that can accommodate a thicker roof/headliner stack, up to about 6'.
Thanks again for the feedback, and we’re happy it ended up being a great fit for your van.
Orion Van Gear offered the best pricing on my two new MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe fans and they arrive SO fast. The install on our our 5th wheel went exceptionally well. Thank you for the great experiences.
supper product I had been looking for a crossbar rack system for my van's roof rack for more than a year, and this is perfect I did have to enlarge the holes on the foot piece of the cross bar to 11/32 to fit my roof rack hex bolts for mounting, easy peezy
