The EcoFlow Power Kit system is a fully integrated power solution engineered for vans, RVs, and marine environments. At its core is the Power Hub 5kVA, delivering up to 5000VA of power. This Power Hub combines an inverter/charger, a DC-DC battery charger with MPPT, a DC-DC step-down converter, and two MPPT solar charge controllers, eliminating the need for complex wiring or piecing together multiple components.

👉 STEP 2: Select a AC/DC Distribution Panel (either 30A or 30/50A): When using the Gen 2 Power Hub, you can choose between the 30A Smart AC/DC Distribution Panel and the larger 30/50A Panel. The 30A panel supports up to 12 DC circuits (6 controllable) and 6 AC circuits, with a maximum DC output of 20A per circuit. The 30/50A panel expands capacity to 16 fully controllable DC circuits and 12 AC branch circuits, offering 30A output on F1–F13 and 50A on F14–F16. Both options operate at 120V/30A under battery power, while the 30/50A panel can provide 240V/50A when connected to 50A shore power. The 30A version uses proprietary EcoFlow breakers (included), whereas the 30/50A model uses standard household breakers (readily available but not included). Many builders prefer the 30A panel for its compact size and simpler wiring, while the 30/50A panel offers greater expansion and higher circuit capacity for complex builds. My original build plan was to build a conventional Victron system from the ground up, but having little electrical experience I was super anxious about risks involved. Orion turned me on to EcoFlow and it was a game changer. Truly a plug and play system, simplifying getting power in the van enormously. After a year of use with only a couple of minor start up issues (which helped me solve) it’s been exactly as advertised. My 10kwh system is configured 12v on the output side but 48v on the input side and with three input ports that means I can use 2 for the 5kwh batteries and the third port for my Nomadic X2 48v air con unit which generates close to 13,000 btus- perfect combo. The UI is super simple, elegant and easy to use both on the van mounted console and the smart phone app. With simple hook ups for solar, alternator charging and shore power the system has been powerful and reliable. I see and hear about more and more pro upfitters installing EcoFlow systems rather than conventional systems - there’s a reason for that. Great system - highly recommended.
