Easy clean Install on an Orion Promaster Rack
These are a must for adding the awning to the Stealth roof rack. Make attaching the awning simple and secure.
(My only negative comment is about the cost, but I’d still give them a five star rating)👍
Like the Orion Roof Rack, the Fiamma Awning Brackets are a well designed and quality product and a must have to mount your awning to the roof rack.
After mounting the brackets to the Orion Roof Rack you have the opportunity to move the awning fore and aft to find the spot which will work for you when the awning is extended (easier with two sets of hands). We opted to position the awning would cover the sliding door opening when the awning was extended to help keep the sun and elements out of the van.
Overall we could not be happier with how smoothly the install of our awning went and the Orion Awning Brackets provides a seamless integration of the awning and roof rack and gives us peace of mind knowing the awning is secure to our van.
Highly recommend the Orion Awning Brackets.
If you have the stealth rack and are getting a Fiamma awning then I highly recommend these brackets. The way you can install and slide the brackets with ease into position.
Made installing my awning easy and took the guess work out of making my own brackets. I don’t have to worry about the awning flying off because it passed the test of speeds over 90mph, pouring rain, harsh snowing conditions and passing semi trucks on windy days. Highly recommended if you have the Orion rack and the awning.
Installation time was under an hour.
The Fiamma awning installation went smoothly with the Orion awning brackets. I can't wait for some sunny days in Moab to use my new awning. Highly recommend the rack and awning brackets for your Promaster van.
I can’t compare using these brackets to using the stock hardware that came with the Fiamma awning because I didn’t have to use any of those parts, but they looked pretty complicated. With these brackets, I was able to quickly mount the brackets to the rack and then easily lift the awning into position. I was then easily able to slide the awning forwards and backwards a few inches along the length of the van to fine-tune the position before tightening the hardware. I highly recommend these brackets if you have a Stealth rack and need to mount a Fiamma awning to it!
