When we first started, stainless steel 1/4-20 T-Nuts didn’t exist—the only available options were zinc that would rust on a roof rack. That’s why we created these using 304 stainless steel. Recently, we’ve upgraded them again to include two auto-aligning grooves on the top surface, allowing for better self-centering and easier tightening.
